Although this is not always the case, many truckers who travel through the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area have to follow federal rules. These rules are promulgated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to stay in business legally.

Can I still get workers' compensation if an injury was my fault?

Tips to prevent distracted driving

Distraction continues to present a significant danger to drivers on Pennsylvania roads and across the nation. Road conditions can change in the blink of an eye, and a distracted motorist is far less likely to notice in time and react quickly to avert an accident.

How common is it for a doctor to operate on the wrong body part?

Many people in the Pittsburgh area probably think that a so-called, "wrong site" surgery, is a rare even that only happens to incompetent surgeons. Unfortunately, the chances of even an experienced surgeon operating on the wrong location, or even operating on the wrong patient, are higher than anyone in Pennsylvania might think. Moreover, "wrong site" surgeries also include those cases in which doctors perform the wrong procedure on the right part.

Self-driving vehicles off road temporarily in Pittsburgh

An accident in another state influenced Uber, the business originally known for ride-sharing, to pull its fleet of autonomous, or so-called "self-driving" vehicles, from the street of Pittsburgh, at least temporarily. The vehicles were expected to be put back on the street shortly after the investigation in to the accident was concluded.
