Three people injured in head-on car crash

Driving a car for many people in the Pittsburgh area is essential. People need their cars to get to work each day, buy groceries and other essentials, see friends and family, go out for entertainment and for many other reasons. Cars make all these things easy to do and are very convenient. Driving a car also comes with great responsibility as well. People need to drive safely and follow the traffic regulations to ensure not only their own safety, but the safety of the other drivers on the road with them.

One driver recently failed to do that causing a car accident resulting in serious injuries. One driver was driving with her nine-year-old son and crossed the center line of traffic and struck a driver head-on in the other side of traffic. It is unclear why the woman crossed the center line, but her son and both drivers suffered critical injuries. All three people were trapped in their cars and paramedics had to get them out. The drivers of the vehicles had been upgraded to stable condition at the hospital, but the child remained in a critical condition.

It is very unfortunate for all people involved in car crashes such as this one, but it can be even more unfortunate for the driver who did nothing wrong and was simply the victim of another's negligent driving. The victims of these accidents may suffer serious injuries requiring extensive medical treatment and may force the victim to miss time at work. This can make these injuries very costly for the victims as well. Luckily they may be entitled to compensation for their injuries.

There are many car accidents on the roads in and around Pittsburgh every year. These can be very costly for the victims, but they may be entitled to compensation from the negligent driver and their insurance company. Trying to obtain the compensation they deserve can be difficult though. Experienced attorneys understand the process and also how important the compensation is for the victim.
