Maybe it just wasn't his time to go. A motorcyclist is still breathing today, but his survival can only be described as miraculous. The motorcyclist was heading down the highway when he was almost run over by a passenger car. Moments later, the driver of that car slammed on his brakes and the motorcyclist, unable to react quickly enough, slammed into the back of the vehicle. That's when things got crazy.
Rather than roll off, the motorcyclist was able to get a grip of the car and hang on for dear life as the driver accelerated down the interstate. The driver finally slowed down, and the motorcyclist was able to escape with fairly minor injuries.
An investigation revealed that the driver had no working brake lights, no insurance and no driver's license. Authorities also claim that the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The entire accident was captured from the motorcyclist's helmet and from a vehicle that was trailing the scene. So far, no charges have been filed.
Accidents involving motorcycles almost never turn out well. In fact, because they are so exposed, motorcycle riders are more susceptible to severe injuries than most.
This rider used luck and bit of brute strength to survive, but most aren't that fortunate. If you've suffered an injury or lost a loved one in a motorcycle accident, it shouldn't be up to you to pay for medical expenses, funeral costs and lost wages. A personal injury attorney may be able to get you the compensation you deserve.
