Man charged with multiple crimes after fatal accident

Traveling in a car on the roadways in Pennsylvania be dangerous. That is why it is important for drivers to pay attention to the road. If they become distracted or are intoxicated, there is a greater chance they will cause car accidents and people will suffer injuries as a result.

According to the police, an intoxicated driver recently caused a fatal accident. The intoxicated driver, according to a passenger in the other car, crossed the center line and was driving straight at their vehicle. The two cars crashed as a result, and two of the people driving in the correct lane were killed. A third passenger in that car was injured but survived. The police found marijuana and pills in the man's car and a toxicology report indicated that the man had fentanyl and THC in his system when the crash occurred.

It is extremely tragic when accidents like this occur. Not only are two people dead as a result, but it is something that should have never occurred if the man simply chose not to drive since he was under the influence of drugs at the time. Losing a loved one is never easy, but it is particularly difficult when the family knows that the accident should have never occurred and the loved one should still be with them.

Unfortunately, many people get behind the wheel in Pennsylvania while they are intoxicated. Sometimes these people cause car accidents, which can cause significant injuries even if they do not result in anyone's death. The victims of these accidents or their families may be entitled to compensation for their loss and injuries.
